Our History The story begins in 1950 with Pierre Guinguet who began as a grower selling his plums of Agen from a small location in Duras, Lot-et-Garonne. In 1972 Maryse and Jean joined him to create the family business that specialised in the production and processing of dried plums. Patricia and Sabine their daughters joined the family business later on, to develop their passion for making innovative chocolates. Maison Guinguet has kept to its traditional background providing a regular and reliable production for its delicious chocolates and dried plums. With Sabine's influence and thanks to her talents, many different flavours of chocolates have been created in an innovative way using traditional flavours to create amazing tastes like cruchy praline (lemon and coriander) caramel ganache and so on. From delights to delicacies, the homemade chocolate is now the fast expanding part of Maison Guinguet. The creativity of Patricia and Sabine is to develop innovative chocolates. This area is constantly changing with new products thanks to their creativity.
