History The history starts in 1950 with Pierre Guinguet who began as broker by selling his prunes of Agen to Duras, in Lot-et-Garonne. In 1972, Maryse et Jean Guinguet joined the company and already specialised in the production and the transformation of the production. The competences of Patricia and Sabine come to develop an innovative sector which is in constant progression thanks to an original and very tasty local product. Their artisanal factory did not only make it possible to keep a traditional identity, it also ensured a serious and regular production, for all personal gifts or company presents. Under the impulse of Sabine and thanks to her imagination, the varieties of the chocolates are increasingly innovative with traditional savours or more surprising while passing by a crusty praliné, a lemon and coriander praliné, or better, the coffe or caramel ganache, and many others surprises. From delights to delicacies, an artisanal chocolate factory is now part of the history of la maison Guinguet.
